Graphic Design

A design project commissioned by the Birmingham-Southern College Media and Film Studies Department to advertise for the annual Film Festival. The designs were used to advertise across campus using printed and digital mediums.

A modern and simple design is used while incorporating the school’s iconic black and yellow color scheme. The addition of the ginkgo tree leaf is another traditional symbol for the school. A large blocky font is used creating an eye-catching visual that draws influence from classic film posters.
